Woburn is a sheep operation located in the Bungarby area of the Monaro region, in Southern NSW.  The property is approximately 900 hectares and is primarily focused on prime lamb production.  The aim is to create a sustainable business that is capable of supporting ongoing generations.  The approach taken is thorough and evidence based with regards to production and management.

The main aim of the stud is to produce rams for the commercial flock under extensive and intensive conditions. These rams are raised in the rugged conditions of the Monaro. Ultimately the goal is to produce 50kg wether lambs in less than 5 months that will kill out at over 50% CDW.

The ewe lambs are joined at 7 months and are consistently over 100% scanned in-lamb. Woburn is predominantly a commercial operation and rams are selected on shedding characteristics, above average weight for age and overall soundness and conformation.

The Monaro is renowned for its breeding stock that have the ability to thrive under all conditions around Australia including Tasmania – Woburn stock are proving to live up to this reputation.
